VERA EGITO. From S\u00e3o Paulo city, graduated at the Superior Course of Audiovisual of ECA-USP. Her short films Spread Through the Air (2007) and Elo (2009) were screened at Cannes Festival Critics’ Week. Vera worked as a screenwriter for the feature films Adrift (Un Certain Regard \u2013 Festival de Cannes 2009), Bald Mountain and Elis (both at the Rio Film Festival 2013). In 2016 she released her first feature as writer and director Amores Urbanos. The film premiered at the Miami International Festival, and in commercial rooms in Brazil; it was also screened out of competition at the Mix Brasil Festival 2016. In addition to the cinema, Vera directed several music videos. The last ones were “Lal\u00e1”, of Karol Conk\u00e1, and “Lesbigay”, of A\u00edla.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
