Regarding this context, there are some news. This year, we\u2019ll occupy an important space for the literary events circuit: M\u00e1rio de Andrade Library. Taking advantage of the occasion to highlight M\u00e1rio\u2019s homosexuality, often neglected within the academy. We\u2019ll also be honouring Vange Leonel, fundamental figure in the development and visibility of a national lesbian art movement. Other important innovation is the opening of our programming to non-fictional books, literary journalism and comics, editorial segments each time more relevant. Finally, we\u2019re proud to announce the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B4Q_cEGHbAC\/\">Mix Liter\u00e1rio Award<\/a>, awarded to the year\u2019s best author, during the general awarding ceremony of the festival. From independent houses to big publishers, from street poets to slam artists, many are the artisanal productions that showcase the trend. In this talk are gathered to discuss what\u2019s new and the trends in the segment: Jo\u00e3o Innecco, poet-teller, editor of independent zine Fuma\u00e7a and Tinto; Juno Cipolla, producer of hir own poetry books such as visual artists\u2019 process books; and Preto T\u00e9o, poet, slammer and cultural producer, author of the book EP; published by pad\u00ea editorial, an important house that specialises in artisanal books.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SOIREE \u2013 LGBTQI+ BLACKNESS, NEW VOICES (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/15-de-novembro-sexta-feira\/\">NOV 15 <\/a>&#8211; 7pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nA space dedicated to displaying the work of novice black authors, from different segments and literary mediums. An open mic is available for those interested.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ABYSMAL NARRATIVES, LGBTQI+ SUBJECTIVITIES BETWEEN PROSE AND POETRY (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Featuring Gabriela Soutello, Raimundo Neto e Rafael Jo\u00e3o<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/16-de-novembro-sabado\/\">NOV 16<\/a> &#8211; 3pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some authors have developed an extremely abysmal narrative, subjective, based on consciousness flows, inner immersions and poetic prose to voice new forms of identity within diversity. To this talk, we invite Gabriela Soutello, author of Ningu\u00e9m vai lembrar de mim (No one will remember me), contemplated on the first edition of the debuting authors publishing contest from S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s Secretariat of Culture; Rafael Jo\u00e3o, author of Pelicano (Pelican); and Raimundo Neto, author of Todo esse amor que inventamos para n\u00f3s (All the love we created for us), winner of Pr\u00eamio Paran\u00e1 de Literatura in 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>POETRY AND THE DECONSTRUCTION OF NORMATIVE FETISHES (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Featuring Glauco Mattoso e Fabio Weintraub<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/16-de-novembro-sabado\/\">NOV 16<\/a> &#8211; 5pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many signs of sexuality are crystallized in daily life and reproduce types of symbolic violence. Some poets, such and renowned master Glauco Mattoso, career spanning decades, know how to subvert and deconstruct normative fetishes in their production, writing to the delight of verses the old and new desires hidden by a normative society. Either representing queer characters or shedding a light on other social issues, these comic artists are giving new traces and colors to the world of comics. Featuring Aline Zouvi,contributor to Folha de S.Paulo; M\u00e1rio C\u00e9sar Oliveira, of Bendita Cura, webcomics project winner of HQMIX 2019 trophy in its category; and Bruno Marcitelli, member of Cia. dos Terroristas collective, co-creator of the comic Ditadura gay (Gay Dictatorship), still under development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SENTIMENTAL EDUCATION: LITERATURE MADE BY LGBTQI+ PEOPLE TO YOUNG ADULTS (YA) (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Featuring Vitor Martins, Thati Machado e Eric Novello<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/17-de-novembro-domingo\/\">NOV 17<\/a> &#8211; 5pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With online readers networks booming, a greater younger audience has grown connected, and the emergence of authors that have been publishing some important narratives regarding diversity. Our three invited authors are great examples of the trend: Vitor Martins, youtuber and author of Um milh\u00e3o de finais felizes (A Million Happy-endings); Thati Machado, author of Singular and editor, big on Wattpad; and author\/ translator Eric Novello, of Ningu\u00e9m nasce her\u00f3i (Nobody is born a hero), book that depicts a distopia about a group of young people facing a religious fundamentalist regime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LITERARY CARTOGRAPHY FROM THE SHADY CORNERS: ALLIES, DANCEFLOORS AND SAUNAS (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Featuring Marcelino Freire, Cristina Judar e Agnaldo de Assis Nascimento<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/17-de-novembro-domingo\/\">NOV 17<\/a> &#8211; 7pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Literature made by LGBTQI+ people has been tracing a new urban geography, revealing its places of discard, ins and outs. The tracks that subvert the daily body. These characters are often in the night and experience a suspicious and dreamlike existence, in which identities are diffuse and smoky. Beyond the presence of Marcelino Freire, whose largely accoladed body of work always brings this scenery, we\u2019ll be talking to authors Cristina Judar, whose recent romance Oito do Sete (winner of Pr\u00eamio S\u00e3o Paulo de Literatura) explores similar cartographies, and Agnaldo de Assis Nascimento, who just released his debut Horses, an epic of punk art of sorts, with hints of queer, winner of the first debuting authors publishing contest from S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s Secretariat of Culture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>FROM ADVENTURE TO HORROR, FROM CORDEL TO FANTASY: <\/strong><strong>LGBTQI+ AND THE TRANSIT BETWEEN LITERARY GENRES (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Featuring Jarid Arraes, Cidinha da Silva, Samir Machado de Machado e Santiago Nazarian<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/18-de-novembro-segunda-feira\/\">NOV 18<\/a> &#8211; 7pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Literature made by LGBTQI+ people isn\u2019t of a single style or language. Nor is it only aimed at their own community. The authors in this table are striking examples of how a writer may transit between classic literary genres, inserting new elements such as Brazilianity, diversity, specific existential and historical issues. In this conversation are gathered: Cidinha da Silva, who explores many genres from poetry to fantasy; Jarid Arraes, who went from cordel to a tale in her recent Redemoinho em dia quente (Whirlpool in a hot day); Samir Machado de Machado, who explores classic adventure genders featuring queer characters; and Santiago Nazarian, who\u2019s been exploring horror in his bizarre existentialism<br \/>\nnarratives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>VOICES TO THE TUNE OF THE STREETS: LGBTQI+ IN PIECES OF LITERARY JOURNALISM AND NON-FICTION (90\u2019) &#8211; for 14+<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Featuring Lu\u00edsa Marilac, Nana Queiroz, Chico Felitti e Larissa Ib\u00fami Moreira<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/programacao\/19-de-novembro-terca-feira\/\">NOV 19<\/a> &#8211; 7pm @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mixbrasil.org.br\/27\/biblioteca-mario-de-andrade\/\">Biblioteca M\u00e1rio de Andrade<\/a><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some great pieces of journalism and non-fiction work have been an important medium in the fight for stigmatised LGBTQI+ people\u2019s visibility. Chico Felitti went viral with his story on Ricardo, \u201cFof\u00e3o da Augusta\u201d, later amplified by the book Ricardo e V\u00e2nia. Larissa Ib\u00fami Moreira retraces the origins of the movement that brought trans singers to the current scene, from their source to the stage, in her piece Vozes transcendentes.
