SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n
The story of a travesti body narrated by actress Renata Carvalho. On stage, she launches a manifesto about how those bodies come to be, depicting the social constructions and the criminalization they go through, from imagination to concreteness. The research, named Transpology, was iniciated in 2001, when Renata became an agent of voluntary IST, hepatitis and tuberculosis prevention, working with travestis and trans women in sex work. From this experience, she took to the stage in 2012 her solo Dentro de Mim Mora Outra (Someone Else Inhabits Me), in which she told stories about her life as travesti. Since then, she\u2019s been gathering stories, fi lms, books and plays about the theme. Her piece The Gospel According to Jesus, Queen of Heaven, exhibited on Mix Brasil Festival in 2017, has been censored in many cities in Brazil.<\/p>\n
