In a dimly lit room filled with mist, silhouettes of men, alone, in pairs or in groups, abandon themselves to the exploration of their sexuality. Between dream and awakening, “In the Mist” plunges into the heart of an unexpected experience, where time seems to be suspended and bodies in a trance. Chou Tung-yen takes a poetic and explicit look at desire, which is shaped here around the pleasure of seeing and being seen – actively questioning that of the viewer.
