SYNOPSIS: Mike and Scott are two young hustlers who live on the streets of Portland. Mike suffers from narcolepsy and can fall asleep at any moment and in almost any circumstance. Scott comes from a rich family and is rebelling against his own background. While they travel together extensively, they embark on a journey of self discovery. Best Actor Award (River Phoenix) at Venice Film Festival in 1991 and International Critics’ Prize at Toronto Film Festival in 1991.
